Wrestling fans love interviews and wrestlers love giving them! This month we are featuring an interview with the new US Champion - Shatter!

Shatter is a fan favorite in the WWWA since his arrival. A worker with great in-ring skill and personality it's no wonder that the fans gravitate to this man. It was a pleasure to interview him for the site and he is our inaugural interview!
Mike: Shatter, most fans of the WWWA know that you are a devour follower of God. That must not be easy to maintain that level of faith in this business. Can you tell us about your beliefs and how they affect your career when this industry, a lot of times, seems to go against the basic principles of the bible?
Shatter: My personal beliefs can easily be read in the Bible and, as far as the business goes, I will only go wrestling shows that are family oriented. that means no sex, nudity or any such stupid stuff. I like simple, old school wrestling.
Mike: Getting in that ring can be a frightening and engrossing experience - so I'm curious - what’s the first thing you think about prior to entering the ring?
Shatter: Before I walk through that curtain I pray before for safety and to do the best that I possibly can and that I hope I give the fans what they paid to see….great wrestling.
Mike: If that's the first thing you do then what’s the last?
Shatter: Only if my job was done well and the fans are left feeling happy and excited.
Mike: We’ve talked about wrestling in general several times and it’s obvious you were a big fan growing up like a lot of us. Who were the wrestler’s that inspired you the most to get into this business?
Shatter: Performers like Barry Windham, Sting and The Road Warriors are among my favorites but Bret Hart and Ric Flair, like many other young wrestlers, were inspired by.
Shatter: When I was 7. My best friend Gary Hilton got me into watching wrestling and I have been addicted ever since.
Mike: Pick any one wrestler to work with - who is it and why?
Shatter: I would have to say the legendary Ric Flair. The knowledge and skills he possesses in the ring are second to none and I would learn a lot by such an encounter.
Mike: There is a lot of young talent in the WWWA - out of them - who is your favorite?
Shatter: Johnny Law or Kage. Both are great workers and I enjoy working with both of them and Johnny is a long time friend.
Mike: There are quite a few guys in the WWWA that rub others the wrong way - anyone stick out in your mind?
Shatter: Anyone coming after this title! This title means a lot to me and any man in that locker room who is going after it is on notice that they do not want to rub me the wrong way inside that squared circle!
Mike: the world of professional wrestling can take a performer to many sites and heights so where would you like to see yourself in five years from now?
Shatter: I love this business and I would love to be on TV wrestling for the big guys or even here in the WWWA - as long as I'm in the ring!
Mike: Who trained you? Can you share with us what that was like?
Shatter: Johnny Law. He made sure that I got everything down the way it should be and done the right way. He helped me like no one has as far as working the crowd goes along with the other skills needed in the wrestling business. For that I would like to say thanks Johnny!
Mike: We have a U-Pick-It card coming soon where the fans get to choose the matches! So play booker for us! What matches would you like to see on a WWWA card?
Shatter: Hmmmm.. I would open the show with Armageddon vs. Dreamcatcher for any title that either may be holding at the time. Follow that up with Evan Nemo vs. Ravage vs. Frank Cody for a #1 contender shot at the IC Title. A 4-Way Dance featuring Rodney X vs. Johnny Law vs. Jason Gotti vs. Chucky D. Triple Threat match for the tag team championship Hate Breed vs. Nigerian Nightmares vs. Steve the Teacher and Ken Andrews. High Impact Title match with Arkham vs. Adrian Bliss vs. Magnum XL vs. JC Riley. US Title match with Glen Osbourne vs. Demetrius Arion. A 4-Way match for the Woman's title with Cindy Rogers vs. Alere Little Feather vs. Alexa Thatcher vs. Little Devil. I would have to face Kage for the World Title and main event of the heavyweight title to pit Scott Steiner against Rhino.
Shatter: I really enjoy playing softball and watching my kids get excited when they're doing anything that they have interests in. I also pray before every match for safety and to make sure I give the fans a great match to watch. I like to ride my Harley and just be with my family and friends, I would like to think that the fans know that I enjoy spending time with them also.
Mike: Now - a few non-wrestling questions.
Shatter: Ok, shoot.
Mike: Love that entrance music - what is it?
Shatter: Game On by Disciple.
Mike: Cool Ok - many guys are health conscious - others aren't - so what's your favorite food?
Shatter: Gotta go with cheese steaks.
Mike: All that beef.. add some cheese and sautéed onions! Yum. So - if you were going to down a cheese steak during a movie - what would it be? In other words - what's your favorite movie?
Shatter: I would have to say Tombstone.
Mike: Awesome flick. I'm more of a Goonies guy myself so - favorite band or song?
Shatter: They perform my entrance music for a reason so Disciple.
Mike: Alright - Disney - ever been and if you have been do you escape the world and become a big kid?
Shatter: NO!
Mike: Fair enough. I personally love Pirates of the Caribbean.. ok so, I have to admit it - I have a reputation for being quiet and a bit of an odd duck and so this interview wouldn't be an interview without some odd questions! So here are a few.. don't look so worried. It'll be painless. Anyway - baldness - choice or fate?
Shatter: (laughing) Choice all the way.
Mike:
Cool -
Shatter:

Shatter: Whatever I want!
Mike:
